Openera is a cloud application that automatically moves your email attachments from your mail client to your Dropbox or Box.net cloud storage accounts. The product features an extensive set of user-configurable rules to direct the flow and categorization of documents, cross-cloud search, tagging and access for retrieval. On the back-end, we used a Redis/Resque combination to manage the tasks of moving and synchronizing files.

A quality assurance application for Green Communities Canada's regional offices and energy advisors was developed using Ruby on Rails (w/ JRuby) fronting a MySQL database. The application serves approximately 50 advisors across Ontario, allowing them to submit and validate energy audits produced with HOT2000 software against a set of quality assurance checks.
